Janfie van Strien (1969) - saxes and clarinet.

Graduated from the Groningen Conservatory. Plays in the Amsterdam Klezmer Band,Bernies Lounge, Cousin X and a number of other bands. Played in and composed for a modern Ska&Pop orchestra called Jammah Tammah. He composes tunes for the Amsterdam Klezmer band and De Jongens Driest. He worked on projects with Khaled, François Thuillier, Serge Adam en Michel Godard. As he sessionmusician he can be found on various albums. In his spare time he plays klezmer, punkrock, bebop, latin or african music, or sometimes just a wonderful blend of this all.
