Arno Bakker (1968) - sousaphone

Didn't graduate, nor from a music school, nor from Uni. Played for many years alongside Janfie in the ska band Jammah Tammah. Spent a year in an army marching band, as well as a year in the UK, playing folk, cajun, ska, latin and trad jazz. Involved in Marockin’ Brass, Sâlt, Safari Joe, Firma Rood & De Groot and Adam Oliviers Silverleaf Brass Band. He worked on projects with François Thuillier, Serge Adam en Michel Godard. Perfoms and plays on all sorts of theatrical events (worked with Dogtroep) and festive occasions. Is involved in management – as in hotalmanagement for the NoorderslagWeekend – and acts as an agent for De Jongens Driest and Sâlt.
